Patch 1.4.3 Changelog


Patch adding new equipbelt visuals (implemented by @Wishful!) and some new level balancing, content, and progression.

Changelog

  • Added new equipbelt animations and visuals
  • Remixed and added new early levels (1-100) with the intention of making early level pacing faster, and with more potential for nice setups (i.e. with strikers, ice platforms or springs) to get nice early boosts.
  • Added a new "Crossing" section at levels 50-55 as a medium-sized skill check for moving platforms
  • Added more goldfields levels 
  • Strikers now reset streak attenuation properly
  • Made some changes to the way treasure selling works
    • I noticed extreme amounts of lag treasure clips into each other. To mitigate this, I've adjusted all the treasure hitboxes to be similar in shape/size so this doesn't happen as often with large groups of treasure
    • There is still a performance issue with selling massive amounts of treasure at once - cooking up a more permanent fix for this
  • Added a new item - DRIFT PILL
    • consequently, added a new badge that's required to unlock this item - DRIFT MININ
  • Cats now make your character dexterous
    • when dexterous, your character treats both unstable and disappearing platforms as normal platforms.
  • Item unlock levels now only give choices of items to pick from.
  • Purple boost coins now have a slightly longer timer
    • Window to pick up 4 in a row is bigger no
  • The 2nd chasm (lvls 170-200) has been shortened significantly (now lvls 186-200) to better match the previous chasm.
  • Fixed a bug where there was sometimes an extraneous pointer during tutorial panel sequences.
  • Fixed a bug where emerald treasure gravity was extremely low
