The first of 12/24. A game about massacring hordes of hostile jungle wildlife. How many waves can you survive?

This game was originally started for the Secret Santa 2023 game jam, but wasn't finished in time. Now it's part of my personal project to finish 12 games in 2024.

Features:

• 25 waves of monke to survive
• 20+ cultivatable upgrades and abilities to boost your chances of survival
• 2+ unique enemy types to fight (there's 3 lmao)
• 3 unlockable badges

How 2 Play:

Fight off waves of mobs using a full-auto submachine gun and tactical knife. Collect blood essence from your enemies and cultivate new powerful abilities at the IDOL.

• LMB - Fire gun
• RMB - Knife
• A/D - Move left/right
• Spacebar - Jump
• K - End the game (instantly kills you) and view final stats page.

Gameplay Tips:

• Don't forget to use the knife liberally to keep enemies back.  It's very good for knocking back hordes of bats back at once.
• Knifing a monkey while it's attacking or winding up will briefly incapacitate it.
• The earlier you cultivate GREED, the better.
• Fire damage is very effective, especially on the tankier monkeys.
• Upgrade jump to gain access to the floating platforms, allowing you to better kite monkeys.
• Shooting for too long will cause overheat damage. Avoid this by increasing the cooldown rate or upgrading the knife.
